My book is set in Qing Dynasty. We have harem, surprisingly the empress is not the main character but a maid is 😂 this is a Maid/Emperor love story slow burn.. but the empress is important to the story. We have a bunch of concubines, consorts, and a dowager. It won't be a happy ending 🙂
I'm really intrigued by your project, Bradley, and would love to know more about how you are tackling the different POVs. I have an idea of how I might do it, and I am curious to know how our ideas mesh. AND I can't wait to read this!
Thank you so much! This idea has been developing for years now, but I’m determined to finish it this year. As far as the POVs, this was one of those times where I decided I needed an outline to keep track of everything, as I’m sure you can imagine.
I’m working on an article about choosing the right POV for your story (1st person, 2nd person, etc.) and as part of that I also plan to discuss my approach to stories with multiple POVs, so that should be out in the next few days!
Always happy to answer questions as well, of course! 😁
I am working on a few different projects, but my main focus is a romance novel.
Patrick Blackwell is a werewolf with a chip on his shoulder--the rest of his family were born werewolves, but he came out human and had to be bitten. He would very much like to fade into the background and never be noticed by anyone.
Citrine is a demon with a mysterious past and a heart that's been broken for centuries. He's spent most of his very long life avoiding connection, but Patrick is the first person he might want to change that for.

Is it ok if we do this as a post and share the link here. You know me... I have more info than I think a mere comment will hold. lol!
I’d say so. We can create a thread and have people link their posts there
Perfect! Sorry for being the thorn. lol!
No worries! Running #SpriNoWriMa has been a learning process for both Bradley and I, so we welcome the feedback
